true love, true appreciation…

its a common factual mistake we make in our lives… We un appreciate those who genuinely love us and glorify the ones that don’t. In other words – “we send those, that don’t send us!” (Nigerian slang*) you need to open your eyes, and see clearly through the clouds! Life isn’t fair, in fact a rollercoaster! But never the less its AMAZING how a stranger sees your pain and is willing to soothe yet the ones your call ‘fam’, ‘dude’ ‘buddies’, dollz, ‘hommies’, ‘bff’s’, ‘girlfriend’, ‘fiance’, ‘brother’, ‘uncle’, ‘mom’, ‘neighbour’ you name it… No where to be found!.
We all have a picture of the kind of social circle we want for reasons best known to us and because ‘I’ don’t fit that dream circle of yours, you deny and un appreciate my presence in your life. Well, the story changes today! I quit!!!!!! I quit tryna* impress, seek for your attention, seek for appreciation, seek for your RESPECT!!!.
You know, we really don’t need the whole world of fake, un true peeps* around us! The fewer the better the happier we shalll be. Stop with crowd parking and face reality…. They really don’t care. Love and appreciate the one or few that have been there unconditionally and yet don’t need nothing in return.. (Tit for tat).
I declare an “Appreciation Day” everyday. I am thankful for the ‘few’ that have been there all through and the few that have joined me half way on my roller coaster, yet amazing life!
